2017 Toyota Corolla SE was bought new. Original Blizzard Pearl paint under recall program. Paint has peeled in ‘spots’ all over car. Toyota fixed ‘spots’ in August 2021, then again in June 2024. Since then, more spots have appeared. Toyota in Mt. Vernon, IL refuses to fix ‘spots’ anymore since Nov 2024. Toyota has paint peeling recall program for 2009-2018 Toyota Corolla which was extended up to 14 years to address the peeling issue which was attributed to a manufacturing defect. The car should have been repainted from the beginning. Why would they think the paint would stop peeling after fixing spots? I have contacted Toyota Customer Experience Center many times. They said they go by what NHTSA tells them. They gave me your number and I was instructed to fill this form out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have attached a pic of peeling above license plate. There are more pics of peeling which I can provide if need be. Also, there is a pic of the Toyota paint peeling recall program.
