I took the car to the Dealership for recalls (#1 Cochoran VW, Wexford, PA) on [XXX]. The dealership has not been able to complete the repair and the car has been at the dealership for almost three months. The dealership employees have been in contact with Volkswagen of America and with individuals in Germany but to no satisfaction. We have spent several hundred dollars on gasoline that we would not have spent as the car in question is an EV (VW ID-4 Model year 2022 with 31,000 miles. We are now fearful that the car will be returned to us in an unsafe condition and are even fearful to get NHTSA involved as the company may hurriedly return the vehicle to us without completing the ‘RECALL’.
