error code ‘gear box fault’ I was not able to put the vehicle in gear.The vehicle had to be towed to jaguar service, I was told needs front compartment wire harness replaced. The codes are the same as noted in the JLR technical bulletin shows it was a known problem and design error was released as service action as per TSB I was given the repair estimate of $5087, my vehicle is out of warranty and not covered. This was a known problem in the design flaw and should apply in or out of warranty. Prior to this incident about year ago, while driving battery fault light came on traction fault and while on the highway my car would not accelerate then shut down fortunately I was able to get help to get the car off the road. I see that the gear box fault is documented multicable times in the forum, so I contacted jaguar to see if they are going to take responsibility for the repair and told no. I’m very concern with this vehicle seems jaguar is aware of its many faults.
