The contact owns a 2019 Jaguar I-Pace. The contact stated while driving at approximately 20 MPH, the vehicle shuddered and stalled. An unknown warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was towed to a dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the battery needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the vehicle was seized after the gear shifter was shifted to park. The vehicle was towed to an unknown dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that a software update was needed. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was towed back to the first dealer for another diagnostic test; however, the dealer refused to perform the diagnostic test or service the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 22,000.
