Jaguar contacted me multiple times now about safety recalls. Subsequently they performed a service which reduced the range of the EV from 230 miles to 170 miles, rendering it largely unusable for my driving needs. In addition according to their latest document, the fix may not eliminate the fire risk as we use the car. I have contacted them for 3 times now and they keep saying soon I will be contacted about a buy back because they are unable to fix the car and return it to spec. The car was also still in warranty. I do not believe JLR is proceeding at a reasonable pace as months have gone by since the earliest notices, not only inconveniencing and effectively defrauding its customers but also keeping our safety at risk. I am hoping NHTSA can intervene with Jaguar to do the right thing and honor their commitment to NHTSA and customers.
